  8. A solid hemisphere has a radius of 7 cm. Find its total surface area.

  9. The surface area of a sphere is 616 cm². Find its radius.

  10. A tent is shaped like a square-based pyramid. The base is open to the ground. If the base length is 6 m and the perpendicular height of the tent is 4 m, find the area of the canvas used to make it.

  11. Find the ratio of the surface area of a sphere to the curved surface area of its circumscribing cylinder.

  12. A solid toy is made of a cone placed on top of a hemisphere of the same radius. If the radius is 3.5 cm, the slant height of the cone is 10 cm, find the total surface area of the toy.

  13. The total surface area of a solid hemisphere is 462 cm². Find its radius.

  14. A right circular cone is made from a sector of a circle with a radius of 21 cm and an angle of 120°. Find the total surface area of the cone.

  15. The surface area of a square-based pyramid is 360 cm². If the side length of its base is 10 cm, find the perpendicular height of the pyramid.
